Change is upon us

There is the old analogy of the frog in the pot. The water slowly reaches boiling point, but the frog doesn't move - it adjusts to the temperature until it is simply too hot and then dies.

That is what is happening to the employees of the developed world. Their jobs are slowly being 'offshored' or lost to technology. Conditions slowly get worse and worse until there are few jobs left.

First the textile jobs went, as the population - overjoyed at the prices of the cheap imports -abandoned clothes made in their own country. Then other manufacturing moved offshore. Next the IT jobs will go, then accounting, law, banking, research and virtually any job which involves the manipulation or entry of data!

If that sounds overstated to you, consider this: In 2004, 25,000 US tax returns were completed in India. In 2005, the figure rose to 500,000. What happened to the US accountants who used to complete those tax returns?

A new economy is sweeping toward us like a tidal wave and you can't resist it. You simply must align your economy (what you do for a living) with the global economy or lose out.

Intellectual Distribution is a new economy industry. It takes advantage of trends in technology and the global economy.

A new economy is emerging - Like a tidal wave it is coming upon us. Jobs as we know them will not exist. The most competitive countries will dominate industries. Intellectual Distribution is emerging as a viable alternative.
